Russian President’s press secretary says they regret Zelensky's words about the war between Ukraine and Russia

The words of the representative of the Kremlin are reported by RIA Novosti. In his commentary, Peskov noted that Moscow is not preparing for an armed conflict with Ukraine.

“We would not want to indulge in any apocalyptic expectations,” said Peskov.

He also noted that Russia regrets such words of the Ukrainian leadership. Moscow, even against the background of the breakdown of normal relations with Kiev, is striving to improve the situation. In the Russian Federation, they have repeatedly said that the inhabitants of the neighboring state are a fraternal people, with whom no one wants to conflict.

Zelensky at the forum “Yalta European Strategy” said that there is a possibility of a full-scale confrontation between Ukraine and Russia. The guarantor blames Moscow for the exacerbation of relations, but forgets that Kiev has been promoting Russophobic policies for years and committing numerous provocations.
