Lavrov commented on the situation with the registration of "Sputnik V" in Europe

“In April-May, EU representatives visited medical institutions in Moscow involved in testing Sputnik V, as well as production sites”, the minister said in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.

According to the diplomat, there are no comments on the vaccine itself and its effectiveness.

Lavrov also stressed that in some countries there is an increase in aggressive rhetoric against Sputnik V.

Earlier, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the European Union Vladimir Chizhov said that the issue of recognizing Russian vaccines is being politicized in Europe.

The Russian Sputnik V vaccine has been registered in 67 countries with a total population of more than 3.5 billion people.
