Kiev delegation to convince Berlin of threat of Nord Stream 2

The Ukrainians will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Economy Minister Peter Altmaer. One of the main topics of the talks will be the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.

“The Ukrainian side will raise the issue of Nord Stream 2 and will once again try to convince German partners that this geopolitical project of the Kremlin poses a threat not only to Ukraine but also to Europe. As the head of the NJSC, I will support the Ukrainian delegation in the negotiations with sectoral expertise”, –  Vitrenko wrote on Facebook.1

Earlier it became known that the Ukrainian president plans to meet Armin Lashet, the head of the Christian-Democratic Union. If his party wins, he will take over as chancellor. So far, the level of support of the political force makes him the most likely candidate for the post.
