Johnson spoke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky by phone on Monday morning, ahead of the summit.

“They discussed Russia’s destabilising actions on the Ukrainian border. The Prime Minister reiterated Britain’s commitment to supporting Ukraine’s territorial integrity. The prime minister said he would state his concerns about the situation at today’s NATO summit and noted that the G7 countries had shown unity in support of Ukraine during last weekend’s discussions”, –  an official spokesman told reporters.
