Media: U.S. softened its attitude towards the Russian S-400, bought by Turkey

According to the tg-channel “Agenda for Turkey”, the Turkish newspaper Pencere reported today that the United States softened its attitude towards the Russian S-400, bought by Turkey, and on the eve of Erdogan’s meeting with Biden, the main issue is being discussed, where to place the anti-aircraft missile system … The article, with reference to different experts, offers two options:

1. Incirlik (American airbase, and NATO base)
2. Qatar (this opinion is expressed by Henry Barkey, an American born in Turkey, who later became a CIA officer).
Military expert Mustafa Aydin spoke about Incirlik. According to him, this will be done to save face for both Ankara and Washington.

“Incirlik has two keys. Turkey has some. Ankara will say “I have the keys.” The second keys are in the hands of the United States, which will enable them to claim control is in their hands. This is how it will be perceived”, – the expert says.
