NATO regrets Moscow's reluctance to meet with the alliance

The statement was made by Committee Chairman Stuart Peach at the opening of a meeting of the NATO Chiefs of Staff on Tuesday, May 18, DW reported from Brussels. At the same time, Peach stressed that the North Atlantic Alliance continues “to strive for constructive relations with Russia when Russia’s actions make it possible.”

He added that NATO kept channels of communication with Moscow open.
