The President of Ukraine said that Russia had withdrawn 3,500 soldiers from Crimea. Zelensky spoke about the withdrawal of Russian troops from Crimea
“Regarding the withdrawal [of the troops], about which Russia has spoken a lot and has officially spoken, – we understand that about 3.5 thousand military contingents have left. But these are only those who were on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. We have not seen and do not see a large bend”, – Zelensky said.
He noted that during the escalation, the number of Russian military and equipment was allegedly increased both on the territory of Crimea and on the territory of Donbass and along the Ukrainian borders.
British Embassy, Latvian and Estonian Foreigm Ministries expressed condolences to the families of those killed in Kazan
“As for the contingent and equipment on the borders of Ukraine and Russia, we do not record a decrease, we do not record an increase either. They move back very slowly, but very, very slowly”.
