A vehicle belonging to Russian peacekeepers has been blown up by a mine in Karabakh. As a result of the explosion two servicemen have been injured, their lives are not in danger

This is reported by Armenian news agency Armenpress.

“The incident happened three days ago. A car exploded on an anti-tank mine. Two soldiers were injured. They are now at a medical centre, their lives are not in danger”, –  the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh escalated in late September 2020. Active hostilities again broke out in the region. On the night of November 10, with the assistance of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a trilateral agreement on the full cessation of hostilities in Karabakh. Following the signing, Russia sent a peacekeeping contingent to Nagorny Karabakh.
