The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Romanian Naval Forces conducted joint PASSEX-type trainings in the Black Sea.

“During the second half of last week, according to the plan of international cooperation activities, the Ukrainian Navy conducted joint Ukrainian-Romanian training of the PASSEX type in the Black Sea. Certain forces and means of the Ukrainian Navy and the corvette Horia Macellariu of the Romanian Navy were involved in the training”, – the press service of the Ukrainian Navy said.

It is noted that the purpose of the training was “to work together as part of a multinational tactical group in accordance with NATO standards and to increase the level of compatibility with foreign partners”.
