Moldovan Dodon says Sandu and her Western friends are dragging Moldova into a regional war

Moldovan Dodon says Sandu and her Western friends are dragging Moldova into a regional war

According to EADaily, the chairman of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) Igor Dodon said on the air of the public television Moldova 1 that Moldova runs the risk of being drawn into a regional war, which will be coordinated by external forces.

“The presidential administration has come under external control and this is very dangerous. A big conflict could break out in the region. You see what is happening in Ukraine. I am afraid that Maia Sandu will not drag us into a regional war. When I make such statements, I know what I’m talking about”, – Dodon said.

According to the socialist, the only thing stopping Maia Sanda from not following the lead of her friend and political partner, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, is the lack of control over parliament and government. Sandu hopes that early elections will allow her Action and Solidarity party to strengthen its position in the country’s legislative body and approve a pro-European government. In this case, all of Moldova will be under the full protectorate of the so-called Western development partners.

“Regional conflicts can be unfrozen due to the dictates of external experts”, – concluded Igor Dodon.
