Iran’s parliament has demanded that Rouhani be put on trial for his agreement with the IAEA

Iran’s parliament has overwhelmingly passed a resolution calling on the prosecutor’s office to launch an investigation into President Hassan Rouhani

The basis for this was the agreement with the IAEA.

MPs accused Rouhani of violating the Strategic Sanctions Countermeasures Act, which obliges the government to break cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency and resume uranium enrichment to 20%.
