Russia registers third COVID vaccine

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the vaccine from the Center named after Chumakov will go into civil circulation in mid-March.

According to RBC, at a meeting of the Russian government, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that a vaccine against coronavirus, developed by the V.I. Chumakov, which was named “CoviVac”.

“The third vaccine, CoviVac, has been registered. It was developed by the Center named after Chumakov, and in mid-March the first 120 thousand doses will be put into civilian circulation”, – he said.

According to Mishustin, 10 million doses of Sputnik V and 80 thousand doses of EpiVacCorona have already been produced.
