The Hill reported that the chief executives of Facebook, Google and Twitter will testify before the U.S. House of Representatives at an Internet misinformation hearing
“For too long, major technology companies have failed to recognise the role they have played in inciting and spreading misinformation to their audiences. Industry self-regulation has failed”, – said Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Frank Pallone in a statement.
