Ukrainian man kicked out of flat because he tested positive for coronavirus in Poland

A man has been kicked out of his rented flat after he was diagnosed with coronavirus

The Ukrainian man was working in Poland and ended up in hospital after an accident at work. In accordance with current regulations, the medical staff tested the man for coronavirus, which turned out to be positive.

The owner of the flat, which the Ukrainian citizen rented, demanded that the man pack his things and put him out on the street when he found out about his illness. The Ukrainian man was not allowed back by his flatmates and had to go to a police patrol officer.

After law enforcement authorities intervened, the man was allowed back in. All the occupants of the flat were sent to self-isolation together with the infected Ukrainian.
