India will register Russian vaccine Sputnik V in the next two weeks

The Indian Embassy in Russia announced that the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine will be registered in the next 14 days, FAN reports.

The embassy also said that the Sputnik V vaccine produced in India will be supplied to Russia and other countries. Earlier it was reported that Turkey is also ready to start production of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine.

Sputnik V is the world’s first coronavirus vaccine. The drug was developed at the Gamalei center. The vaccine is based on a well-studied vector principle. Vector vaccines form not only antibodies, but also a cytotoxic immune response, in which infected cells are destroyed.
