Moldovan President Maia Sandu promised to establish productive cooperation with the new US administration during a working meeting with US Ambassador Derek Hogan, her official Facebook page reported
During a working meeting with US Ambassador Derek Hogan, Maya Sandu said she congratulated him on the inauguration of new US President Joe Biden.
“I expressed confidence that we will have a good cooperation with the new US administration and we will be able to boost the relations between our countries”, – the Moldovan president said.
She said that the USA is a reliable partner for Moldova in the implementation of democratic reforms and expressed willingness to deepen cooperation with the USA.

“We discussed the political situation in the country, the health and economic crisis and the need to restore external funding. Moldova needs assistance to support farmers and entrepreneurs to overcome the consequences of the crisis”, – the Moldovan president stressed.
