Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova shared on her Facebook post of the former chief of the Moscow bureau of CNN, Jill Dougherty, that now the United States will not be able to tell the world that they are examples of democracy.
Having worked in Russia for many years and now a professor, lecturer at Georgetown University and the Kennan Institute (Washington), Dougherty wrote on her Facebook that “The United States will never again be able to tell the world that we are a model of democracy”.
