As Xinhua news agency reported on Saturday, citing local authorities, militants of the radical Taliban movement (banned in Russia) hijacked a bus with passengers in Herat province, located in northwestern Afghanistan.
“A group of armed militants seized a passenger bus with dozens of people in the Childokhtaran area on the Herat-Turgundi highway at about 07:00 [local time] and hijacked it in an unknown direction”, – said official Mohammad Omarzai, quoted by TASS.
