Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan intends to resign. He will announce his decision during the New Year’s address on December 31, the Armenian newspaper “Hraparak” reports.
“There are rumors in power circles that Nikol Pashinyan will announce his resignation and early elections on December 31. Perhaps even earlier. His team, of course, does not confirm the information, but there are facts that speak in favor of this. For example, reforms of the Electoral Code were accelerated, the draft is almost ready”, – the newspaper said.
Earlier, Pashinyan has repeatedly denied rumors of his resignation. However, mass protests, at which citizens demand the resignation of the prime minister, continue.
