Former Trump aide urged Biden “not to quarrel with Russia”

Fiona Hill, who was formerly Donald Trump’s aide and White House director for Europe and Russia, called on US President-elect Joe Biden not to repeat Barack Obama’s mistakes, NYT reported.

“Obama was very dismissive of Russia and called it a regional power. They (the Obama administration – approx.) did not want to think too much about Russia. They will have to do it differently”, – says Hill.

Earlier it became known that according to the results of the electoral vote, Democrat Joseph Biden received 306 votes out of 270 necessary to win. The results of the electoral vote will be approved on January 6. In accordance with the constitution, the inauguration will take place on January 20.
