A new terrorist attack in Afghanistan, killing 21 people

According to preliminary information, a car packed with explosives exploded near the country’s military base in Ghazni

Ariana News reported, citing the head of a local hospital, that at least 21 people were killed and 17 injured in an explosion in the city of Ghazni, the administrative centre of Afghanistan’s province of the same name, located in the central part of the country.

According to the agency, all the victims and injuries are Afghan army personnel. According to preliminary information, a car packed with explosives exploded near an Afghan army base. According to the Xinhua News Agency, the explosion was preceded by gunfire.

None of the extremist groups operating in this region of Afghanistan has yet claimed responsibility for what happened.
