Citizens of Russia and Belarus support the idea of ​​the Union State – survey results

The survey was conducted on the Internet. It was attended by 200 people aged 18 to 65 years.

According to the results of the survey, it became known that the inhabitants of Belarus are more aware of the existence of an agreement on the Union State between Russia and Belarus: 97% of the Belarusians surveyed know about the existence of such an agreement, in Russia 74% of respondents are aware of it.

The majority of the respondents described the relations between the countries as “friendly” and “good, good-neighborly”. However, 23% of the polled Russians and 15% of Belarusians noted “some coolness” between the states.
42% of respondents from Belarus and 39% from Russia believe that “the countries should more actively develop economic cooperation”. And 11% of Belarusian respondents said that the country should “become part of the Russian Federation”.
