The European Union is ready to allocate €24 million to support Belarusian protesters

The programme was named “EU4Belarus: Solidarity with the People of Belarus”.

Within its framework, the European Union will finance independent media, bloggers, students and young professionals, as well as develop initiatives and involve people in the “community for democracy”.

The programme also plans to provide legal, psychological and medical assistance to protest victims and those forced to leave the country, as well as to work on initiatives for modern education “not affected by propaganda”.
