According to TASS, on Tuesday the Tolo News TV channel, citing a source in the security forces, said that at least 12 police officers were killed, 10 were injured as a result of an armed attack by supporters of the radical Taliban movement (banned in Russia) on a law enforcement post in the north -eastern Afghan province of Badakhshan.

According to him, the militants attacked the positions of the police officers on the night from Monday to Tuesday. During the attack, the Taliban managed to set fire to two tanks, seize weapons at the police post, and capture four security officials. Losses from radicals are not shown.
