The Prosecutor General of Ukraine reports to the US Embassy on the certification of subordinates

Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova reported to the US Charge d’Affaires in Ukraine Kristina Kvin on the progress of the department’s reform, which was started by Ruslan Ryaboshapka.

According to the press service of the GPU, the meeting took place on Thursday, October 22. Venediktova reported to the US Ambassador that the reform continues despite the rapid spread of the coronavirus.

According to her, the Prosecutor General’s Office is now at the third stage of the reform, which implies certification of employees.

“Even despite the pandemic, we now have a fairly high turnout of prosecutors from local prosecutors’ offices – about 80%. This indicates an increased confidence in the reform. Those who cannot take part in the testing due to illness now will be able to take exams later”, – the official said.
