According to TASS, in an interview published on Saturday to the editorial association Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland (RND), German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas made an assertion that the Nord Stream-2 project would be completed. The only question that arises is when exactly this will happen.
“I proceed from the assumption that Nord Stream-2 will be completed. The question is when”, – he said.
Referring to criticism of the project from Washington, Maas said that “we make decisions about our energy policy and energy supply here – in Europe”.
