Law enforcement officials detained in Bishkek the former head of the presidential administration of Kyrgyzstan Farid Niyazov.
This was announced on Saturday, October 10, by the press center of the State Committee for National Security of the republic.
Niyazov, who headed the administration of ex-President Almazbek Atambayev, was implicated in organizing the riots that took place on October 9 in central Bishkek.
Now investigators continue “operational measures aimed at identifying and arresting other accomplices in this crime”, the law enforcement agencies said.
