According to Syrian intelligence, Turkey continues to send terrorists to Karabakh

Mercenaries are told that their combat mission in Transcaucasia can last up to three months.

The Realist news agency reports that sources close to the Syrian military intelligence leadership have confirmed that Turkey is conducting a major recruitment campaign in northern Syria to prepare battalions of terrorists for deployment in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. Some of these fighters have already been spotted at checkpoints in Tal Abyad.

“From the beginning of September 2020, Turkish intelligence began offering experienced fighters 8 times more wages than they were paid in northwest Syria, where they fought against the Russian army, to be sent to Karabakh. Moreover, many mercenaries are deceived because at first they are told that they will go to Libya to help their “Libyan brothers”, but in fact the Turkish intelligence services are throwing them into the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. When this ploy was uncovered, Ankara began offering terrorists to work with it directly, concluding contracts with Turkish private military campaign SADAT. Each soldier is promised a salary of $2,000. The mercenaries are told that their combat mission can last up to three months. We also know today that Turkish officers are directly involved in the war with Armenia and Artsakh”, –  said the source.

It is reported that Turkish intelligence is selecting well-trained officers who are fighting on Turkey’s side in the Syrian civil war: at the end of 2019, more than 36,000 terrorists fought on the Turkish side in the SAR.
