Ex-President of Armenia meets with Russian Ambassador

Robert Kocharian told Sergey Kopyrkin about the results of his trip to Nagorno-Karabakh.


As Sputnik Armenia writes, the head of the office of the second president of Armenia, Viktor Soghomonyan, said that Robert Kocharian, who had returned from Nagorno-Karabakh to Yerevan the day before, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin.

“Robert Kocharian and Sergei Kopyrkin discussed the situation in the Karabakh conflict zone”, – Soghomonyan said.

According to the Azerbaijani edition of Report, on October 6, a special service meeting was held under the leadership of Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov.

“During the meeting, the current situation in the ongoing operation was analyzed and an order was given to continue the systematic, purposeful and consistent destruction of enemy forces”, – the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.

Let us remind you that the Russian leadership is in favor of an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire in Karabakh and calls on both sides of the conflict to sit down at the negotiating table.
