The foreign ministers of the G7 countries called on Russia “to bring to justice those responsible for the situation with Alexei Navalny”.
“We, the foreign ministers of the G7 countries, urge Russia to urgently establish full transparency as to who is responsible for this terrible poisoning, and, taking into account the obligations of the Russian Federation under the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, to bring those responsible to justice”, – the joint statement of the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the G7, released by the press service of the State Department, says.
As noted in the document, Germany informed the G7 partners of the conclusions of German experts that Navalny was allegedly exposed to a substance from the Novichok group.
