France postpones talks on security policy and cooperation with Russia

France announced the postponement of bilateral talks with the Russian foreign and defense ministers, which were scheduled for next week. This is stated in a statement by the French Foreign Ministry.

“Given the current circumstances and after an exchange of views with the Russian authorities, the establishment of the Franco-Russian Council for Security Cooperation has been postponed to a later date”, – the French Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The French delegation was supposed to leave for Russia on September 14.
