Americans establish a military communications channel with the Taliban

As reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the official representative of the political office of the Taliban organization banned in Russia, Suheil Shahin, the United States and the Taliban have established a military communications channel to exchange data.

“If any violations happen, the Taliban will inform the American side and vice versa,” Shahin said.

Recall that at the end of February this year, the United States and the radical Afghan Taliban movement signed a peace agreement for the first time in more than 18 years of war.
