In Hasakah, eight people died in an explosion

In north-western Hasakah Province, a motorcycle bomb exploded in the town of Ras al-Ain killing and injuring civilians.

The explosion occurred early in the morning at a vegetable market when an explosive device attached to a motorcycle was detonated and parked on the side of the road leading to the market. The victims of the explosion were eight civilians, mostly women and children. Material damage was also caused.
It is worth recalling that, on 5 June, two children were killed and three civilians injured in a car bomb explosion in the same city.
