In 37 US states, the number of infected with COVID-19 is growing - a new anti-record has been set

This is reported on Saturday, July 4, by Reuters.

Over the past day in the United States more than 57 thousand new cases of infection have been revealed, which became the next anti-record. In Texas, there is a new peak in hospital admissions, and doctors even demand to isolate the state in order to control the virus.

According to the Ministry of Health, the number of infections is growing in 37 of the 50 US states.

Against this background, the mayor of Miami-Dade County Carlos Jimenez imposed an unlimited night curfew, starting on Friday, and forbade the opening of entertainment venues.

An employee of the University Hospital in San Antonio, Ovais Durrani, in turn, noted that almost all patients who were admitted to the emergency department gave a positive result on COVID-19, even those who received other problems, such as gallbladder infection.

“In my opinion, we need to completely block, and we will still see an increase in all these indicators within two to three weeks”, – he said.
