Netanyahu said Israel would not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons

According to the head of the Israeli Cabinet of Ministers, Tehran is “deliberately misleading the international community”.

Israel will not allow Iran’s military establishment in Syria or allow Tehran to acquire nuclear weapons. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made such a statement on Tuesday during a joint press conference with U.S. Special Representative for Iran Brian Hook in Jerusalem.

“We will do everything necessary to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons”, –  Netanyahu said, whose statement was broadcast on major Israeli TV channels. – “Israel will not allow Iran to gain a military foothold in Syria”, –  the Jewish prime minister added.

According to the head of the Israeli Cabinet of Ministers, “Iran deliberately misleads the international community, it lies constantly, does not fulfill its obligations, continues its secret program on development of nuclear weapons, continues its secret program on development of nuclear weapons delivery means”. “Iran continues its unabated aggression in the Middle East and beyond, arming, training, financing and directing terrorists. Iran is doing all this and most of the international community is doing nothing,” Netanyahu added and called for the renewal of sanctions on Tehran.

The Prime Minister noted that Israel “undertakes repeated military actions against Iran in Syria and other places as necessary. “Israel will continue to carry out these actions, necessary to prevent Iran from creating another terrorist and military front against Israel in Syria. I am telling [Syrian President] Bashar al-Assad that he is jeopardizing the future of his country and his regime”, –  he added.

“Iran is trying to intimidate the United States, which is taking action against Iranian aggression. Without determination to use military force against those who plan to attack you, the danger simply keeps growing. That’s the policy that we are pursuing”, –  Netanyahu said, addressing Huk.
