Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told what to expect from the resumption of consultations on strategic stability of the Russian Federation and the United States.

Negotiations will be held in Vienna. They will be held June 22-23.

“We will offer Americans specific directions in which we can and should work, even though the US is entering more and more during the election campaign”, – he said.

Ryabkov will lead the Russian delegation. The US will be represented by Special Representative of the US President Marshall Billingsley.

One of the central topics of the negotiations is likely to be the question of extending the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START).
