The judge allowed the publication of the book of Bolton, despite the objections of the Ministry of Justice

A federal court in the Metropolitan District of Columbia dismissed a lawsuit from the country’s Justice Department banning the publication of memoirs of former US Presidential Assistant Donald Trump John Bolton. This is stated in the decision posted in the court database.

The judge allowed the publication of the book of Bolton, despite the objections of the Ministry of Justice

“The government was unable to establish that the injunction order would prevent irreparable damage. The claim has accordingly been rejected, ” the document emphasizes.

Judge Royce Lambert noted that the memoirs have already been printed and were sent to warehouses both in the USA and in other countries of the world. In addition, copies of the book were made available to the American press and news broadcasters.

“For reasons that are hardly worth even listing, the court will not issue a ruling on the seizure and destruction of political memoirs throughout the country,” he emphasized.

At the same time, Lambert admitted that “Bolton has jeopardized the national security of the United States” and may, as a result, be “administratively liable”.
