All statements by representatives of Ukraine that the Minsk agreements on the Donbass are not binding are untrue, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

“We have the only red line in terms of efforts to resolve the crisis in eastern Ukraine. It consists in the need to strictly, fully and in the proper sequence implement the Minsk agreements, as they were signed by everyone, including representatives of Kiev, Donetsk and Lugansk, and how they were approved by the UN Security Council without any changes. Statements that we hear from official Ukrainian representatives that these decisions are not binding are all from untrue. Or from ignorance of the subject – I completely admit that”, – Lavrov said at a briefing in Belgrade.
