Polish President Andrzej Duda said he will discuss with US President Donald Trump the issues of the redeployment of US troops from Germany.
Earlier, the Polish president confirmed that he had received an official invitation to visit the United States on June 24, as well as the fact that negotiations with Trump were foreseen during the visit.
“Of course, we will be talking with Mr. President Donald Trump about plans related to further American decisions, in which direction the units that President Trump spoke about a few days ago will be moved”, – Duda told reporters on Thursday in Warsaw.
He also suggested waiting for a visit to find out what the US proposals would be.
Earlier, Trump promised to halve the number of US troops in Germany, to 25 thousand people, since Berlin has overdue its payments to NATO.
