Today, May 21, US senators approved John Ratcliffe as director of US intelligence.

Ratcliffe’s candidacy was supported by 49 Republicans. 44 representatives of the Democratic Party voted against.

Ratcliffe was succeeded by Richard Grenell, who, according to media reports, decided to join the campaign headquarters of President Donald Trump.
