According to CTAK, Kim Jong-un praised Xi Jinping for “confidently winning the war against an unprecedented pandemic”.

Chairman of the State Council of the DPRK Kim Jong-un sent an oral message to President Xi Jinping in which he praised China’s success in the fight against coronavirus. The Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (CTAK) reported on Friday.

“Comrade Kim Jong-un, Chairman of the State Council of the DPRK, sent an oral personal message to Comrade Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, in connection with China’s success in working against the COVID-19 epidemic [a disease caused by coronavirus]”, –  the agency noted.

The CTAK reports that in his oral message, Kim Jong-un “sent a warm welcome to Comrade Xi Jinping’s General Secretary” and also praised the fact that the Chinese president, “in leading the party and people of China, is confidently winning the war against an unprecedented pandemic.

“Dear Comrade Kim Jong-un noted that he is pleased with China’s success as his own and expressed confidence that under the wise leadership of Comrade Xi Jinping’s Secretary General, the Party and people of China will strengthen and continuously increase the achievements already made to achieve the final victory. At the same time, DPRK leader wished Xi Jinping good health.

“In his oral personal message, Comrade Kim Jong-un, the esteemed highest leader, noted that the relations between the two parties of Korea and China, which have strengthened, overcoming various trials and challenges of history, are becoming stronger every day and continue to develop,” summed up TTAC.
