DPR qualifies injuring four residents during shelling as terrorist attack

The Prosecutor General’s Office of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic opened a criminal case under the article “act of terrorism” against the Ukrainian security forces after the shelling of Donetsk, in which four people suffered, the press service of the department said on Tuesday.

Earlier, the DPR reported that as a result of shelling of the west of Donetsk by the Ukrainian security forces on Monday, four people were injured, including three children.

“A criminal case has been instituted against brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the fact of injuring four people in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk”, – the Press Service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the DPR said.

A criminal case was instituted under the article “act of terrorism” against the commander of the 28th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and his subordinates, the department noted. The sanction of the article provides for up to 20 years in prison.
