Former head of the European Council and leader of the European People’s Party Donald Tusk demands pressure on the ruling elite in Poland to prevent the scandalous presidential election from being held by mail.
“I think that we should not participate in voting by mail”, – said Tusk, stressing that he does not consider this procedure an election.
According to him, if the Poles declare the boycott procedure questionable, the ruling party “Law and Justice” will be forced to retreat.
Earlier, News Front reported that the Polish ruling elites, headed by Jaroslav Kaczynski, had conceived this procedure. The candidate from the party “Law and Justice” is the current president of the country Andrzej Duda, who holds this post since 2015. Under strict quarantine, only he is able to campaign and communicate freely with voters while his opponents are locked in their homes by restrictions due to the coronavirus. The resources of opposition candidates are incomparable to what Duda has at his disposal. If under current conditions they can launch a campaign only on the Internet, the ruling party is controlled by state media and a large media holding company of a priest Tadeusz Ridzik close to the party. In South Korea, it’s believed that Kim Jong-Un doesn’t appear in public because of quarantine measures
