Protests have resumed in Hong Kong

According to the agency, several hundred protesters gathered in a Hong Kong shopping mall to protest the regional administration and the Chinese government. This is the first action since the outbreak of coronavirus.

The action takes place despite the quarantine restrictions that will last until May 7. Restrictive measures include a ban on mass events, but it is allowed to gather four people.

Citizens are demanding that authorities lift the extradition law that allows offenders to be sent to mainland China to serve their sentences.
