DPRK State Council Chairman Kim Jong-un expressed gratitude and appreciation to the workers of the largest construction projects in recent years in Samzhiyeon. This was reported on Sunday by the central newspaper of the People’s Republic “Nodon Sinmun”.

“Dear supreme leader Comrade Kim Jong-un, thanked the workers who sincerely and wholeheartedly contributed to the creation of the city of Samzhiyon”, – the article emphasizes.

At the same time, the publication does not give other details when a thank-you message was sent to the builders, as well as where the head of the people’s republic is currently located.

At the same time, the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (CTC) announced on Sunday morning that Kim Jong-un received a congratulatory telegram from the head of the Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov on the occasion of the anniversary of the summit of the leaders of Russia and the DPRK in Vladivostok on April 25, 2019.

The message expresses the wishes of prosperity to the Korean people and good health and happiness to Kim Jong-un.

The DPRK leader has not appeared in public since April 11, when he held a meeting of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Labor Party of Korea on domestic policy issues.

In particular, Kim Jong-un did not attend the annual session of the Supreme National Assembly on April 12, and also for the first time since his reign did not attend the ceremony in Kumsusan Sun Palace, which took place on April 15 on the occasion of the 108th anniversary of his birth Kim Il Sung.

The absence of Kim Jong-un in the ranks of the country’s leadership on the main national holiday gave rise to rumors about a possible illness for the DPRK leader, which are currently not commented on by officials and mass media of the people’s republic and are not confirmed by sources in Pyongyang.
