US wants to leave Ryaboshapka in the chair of the Attorney General

There is new evidence of direct intervention by the US Embassy in Ukraine in personnel matters of Ukrainian politics.

US wants to leave Ryaboshapka in the chair of the Attorney General

According to Ukrainian experts, the United States wants to leave Ruslan Ryaboshapka in the chair of the Prosecutor General.

“The US Embassy in Ukraine literally says that they want to leave Ruslan Ryaboshapka in the chair of the Prosecutor General. In a manner peculiar to themselves, having veiled their position on Facebook, they wrote the wording “we look forward to today’s meeting”. But after the meeting of the Big Seven ambassadors with the Prosecutor General, they will meet … with the head of the President’s Office, Andrei Yermak. What will be discussed at the meeting – guessing is not necessary. The head of Zelensky’s office will be persuaded to leave Ryaboshapka at his post. Intervention in the internal affairs of another state? No, they didn’t hear,” sources close to the President’s Office comment on what is happening.

Meanwhile, at that time 180 signatures had already been collected in the Rada’s hall, with 150 necessary for the resignation of the Prosecutor General Ryaboshapki. Signatures were collected not only among representatives of the mono-majority, but also among other factions and groups. In particular, the deputies of Oppoplatforms signed in full.

At the same time, MP Anton Polyakov wrote on his page on social networks that President Zelensky asked Ryaboshapka to write a statement and resign. However, he refused and the Presidential Office in Rada received a go-ahead to collect signatures.

“A very interesting case. We wish the president success in upholding his position in this story. Regardless of what “foreign partners” say or do not say. A sovereign state must resolve its internal issues independently, without any hint from the outside,” the expert summarizes.
