“I would like to support what Jean (Foreign Minister of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn) said about the need for all external players to join forces, to cooperate to de-escalate tensions, and even better to prevent any crisis. And this is exactly what we have aimed at in the dialogue with our colleagues from the European Union and NATO, and with the United States in our bilateral relations. It is only important that this understanding of the need for cooperation, that it is manifested at all stages, and not only when the thunder has already come down”, – said Lavrov after talks with Luxembourg’s Foreign Minister.
“Our Western partners should, of course, be guided by the interests of all the players involved in this or that conflict, not just their geopolitical interests”, – added the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
