Three residents of the Lugansk region were sentenced to five years of probation for participating in a referendum in support of the Lugansk People’s Republic.

The press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine said that the Belovodsky district court of the Luhansk region found three residents of the Stanichno-Lugansk region guilty of an offense under the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.

“The court found these persons guilty and, given the confession of guilty, facilitating the disclosure of the crime and exposing other accomplices, sentenced him to 5 years in prison with release from serving his sentence with a trial period,” the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reports.
