Messages detailing the idea of the summit were sent to the leaders of the countries – permanent members of the UN Security Council, said spokesman for the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, the messages were sent on January 24.
“They (messages with the proposal. – ed.) were sent on Friday,” Tass quoted Peskova as saying.
He added that now “it is worth waiting for an answer.”
On January 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed speaking at a forum in Israel to hold a meeting of leaders of states that are permanent members of the UN Security Council.
