“Veterans of anti-terrorist operation” complain that they do not love and infringe

“Veteran ATO (anti-terroristic operation)” is far from the status that can be boasted in Ukraine. At least, such a conclusion can be drawn from the fact that fighters from the Donbass regularly face discrimination.

49% of former military personnel “suffer” from it.

The International Organization for Migration, in collaboration with the Ministry of Veterans, conducted a survey to find out.

31% of the military experienced cases of discrimination in transport, 14% when receiving medical services, 11% when registering for benefits for veterans and their families, and 10% when receiving administrative services in social welfare institutions.

Most of all, the “veterans” from Kiev region are unlucky – 68%, Kiev – 50%, Dnipropetrovsk region – 46%, Lviv region – 43%.

There is nothing surprising in this. As part of this survey, it would be worth asking civilians how these “heroes” behave.
